ABOUT SAMBOJA
Samboja was born in Bira, Sulawesi Selatan In 2020 with purpose of coexistence people and nature spread the awareness towards a greener, and preserve peaceful world.
Taken from Indonesia folk tales, Samboja, she is named after Dewi Siti Samboja, Mother of the great King of Hindu Sunda Kingdom in West Java: Prabu Siliwangi. She is carry the spirit of Samboja adventure and reveal the beauty of Indonesia landscape and magical underwater world.
Being UNESCO intangible cultural heritage from Indonesia, we build our Samboja, Indonesia traditional sailing vessel with 90% part of Phinisi was made from ironwood carved by local’s hand. We operate to connect with the spirit of ‘Indonesian’ Culture, People, and Exotic Flora & Fauna. We sail with novelty ship, experienced crew, and attentiveness of service.
